Glazed Dark Chocolate Brownies

To make the Brownies:

HEAT oven to 325° F. Grease a metal 8x8in baking dish and line with parchment.

MELT morsels, sugar, butter, and salt in a medium saucepan over low heat, stir constantly. Once melted, remove pan from heat and stir in vanilla. Let cool for 5 minutes. Transfer to a large mixer bowl.

MIX eggs into chocolate mixture using the paddle attachment; then slowly add the flour and salt. Mix until just combined. Pour batter into prepared baking pan, and spread evenly.

BAKE 18-20 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Place on cooling rack and let brownies cool before glazing. Spread glaze over pan of brownies, let glaze set before cutting brownies into bars.

To Make the Glaze:

SCALD Heavy cream in small sauce pan over medium heat.

POUR warm cream over morsels in a medium bowl, add vanilla extract, and stir together.
